Iowa City, Unexpectedly Delightful

Upon leaving Eville in early June, our next destination was the Dakotas.  Alas, Holly was quite far behind on her schoolwork, so we made a five-day pit stop along the way, in Iowa City.  It was a fun little town, dominated by the campus of the University of Iowa.

On campus.

We enjoyed the Museum of Natural History there.

We walked most everywhere, and admired the art decorating the city streets.  Lots of interesting and exotic food was available so close to campus – our favorite was Oasis, a falafel joint.
